Today I made a Thanksgiving box. I covered the wooden box with DSP and added ribbon and some great falling leaves. Now all I have to do is add some goodies inside.
I love Christmas, but sometimes I struggle with getting in the mood. We put up a real tree, so I have to wait until December to see Christmas lights. As a crafter, you know that you have to be in the mood for Christmas sooner than others. I knew I had to find a way to get in the mood to create Christmas.
I borrowed my sons ipod dock, played the playlist on my iphone called "Xmas", put a winter scent in my Scentsy warmer, and stamped.....
Here lately, I cannot get enough of the shabby chic look and I knew this card would fit perfectly with some of the old doors I recently got from my sister. Such character. Merry Christmas Y'all!!!! (a little early)
I found this photo today when I was clearing off a photo card. I took it at the Stampin' Up! Regional Convention this past January. I love this and have even made a few of my own. The demo who made this used the Big Shot and ordinary flashing from the home improvement store. She cut it out and then embossed it. Then it was painted and distressed. A great addition to any garden and just more proof that Stampin' Up! is more than just cards.
My Easter basket. I made it for a Silent Auction we are having at work to benefit the San Antonio Food Bank. I had a chance to visit the food bank not to long ago. It is an amazing place that helps a lot of people in need. I look forward to these fundraisers every year.
No stamping here, but I did use Early Espresso ink refill and water to distress the lime green flower. Grapevine for the cross. Floral wire and rafia hold it all together.

I try to gain inspiration from all different places. Today I opened a catalog and saw bedding that I just loved. I decided to create the same look in a card. Now, if I could only convince my husband that we need the matching bedding!
